Meet Dr. MacKenzie McDonald
From Runner to Healer
Dr. MacKenzie knows firsthand what it’s like when your body won’t cooperate. As a competitive runner at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she battled injury after injury that kept her off the track. Sidelined from both cross country and track & field, she grew frustrated watching from the sidelines, until chiropractic care changed everything.
After experiencing remarkable results herself, Dr. MacKenzie realized that the body’s structure and alignment are key to proper function and healing. That realization didn’t just get her back to running—it set her on a path to help others do the same.
Providing care for the whole family is deeply rewarding, and Dr. MacKenzie also offers specialized care for the littlest patients. This means her approach across all ages is gentle, intuitive, and responsive. Especially important when working with infants and children who cannot verbalize their needs. Dr. MacKenzie provides care for the whole family, including infants, children, teens, and adults, with a special focus on pediatric chiropractic care, including support through prenatal chiropractic care.
A Foundation Built on Excellence
Originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Dr. MacKenzie earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Cardinal Stritch University before pursuing her true calling. In June 2023, she graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During her time at Palmer, she was an active member in campus wide clubs and organizations such as pediatrics, Wisconsin, and motion palpation.
Dr. MacKenzie’s dedication to learning, leadership, and community involvement shaped the compassionate, patient-centered approach she brings to every visit.
